You probably know the famous scene from the film When Harry Met Sally. We use this scene when coaching people in our workshops. It is such a great metaphor for showing people the change or effects of something really good.
Have you ever stepped back and looked at how you are living your life and wondered how other people see you? Would they want the life you live? Are you and I inspiring examples of faith? With this in mind, when I look back on a time when I was depressed, I hope I did not tell people I was a Christian. People listen not only to what we say, but they also look more closely at what we do and who we are.
What kinds of examples are we? I want to live a life worth watching. I want to strive better to get people around me to look at my example and think, “I’ll have what he’s having.”
I heard a definition that I loved of a hero: A hero is an imperfect person striving to be heroic. Once in a while, will you step back and ask yourself if people would want the life that you are living?
