I did not know. Reading Matthew 1:17:
17 Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abraham to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Messiah.
Wow, I’m not even sure what its significance is.
14 Generations from Abraham to David
14 Generations from David to the exile to Babylon
14 Generations from exile to Jesus.
I have no idea what it means exactly, but, for sure, that does not seem random. Just sayin’.
