As a full time professional speaker for the past 34 years based upon extensive experience I would tend to disagree with thie information in the video. I would suggest that it can make a very big difference particularly if the other contestants witness the other speaker presentations. If interested can discuss this further. From my experience in the professional speaking arena every speech is indeed a contest. I’ve kept track of this data from conferences going back 30+ years. Some great lessons learned.
