Presentation Skills Lesson #7:Learn from a Baseball Batting Legend [VIDEO]

By Darren LaCroix | Master Public Speaking

Who do you learn from?

Do you seek out “habits” of the best in every industry?

I am always aware and search for lessons outside of the speaking world and apply them to it. This lesson is one I’ve been preaching for years (no, it’s not STAGE TIME).  Most people hear what I say, but rarely follow through. Baseball batting legend, David Ortiz, has a remarkable habit that EVERY presenter who truly desires to give World Class presentations should commit to. This brief video clip came from a presentation interview that NSA New England asked of me. This lesson is less than two minutes, and worth more the difference becoming great quickly, or staying on a plateau.

Stage time,
