Do you know what your real challenges are? When I’m working with speakers, I encourage them to watch a video recording of themselves. It can be eye-opening to watch yourself on video. Watching it can make it much easier to become aware of your challenges.
Here is the problem. How do you do this in God’s world? If we are unaware, how do we know? We don’t. Recently I got a big ah ha which may be obvious to some. To me it was not obvious. I was, and often am, unaware.
We don’t know what we don’t know. So ask! I’m learning to ask God to reveal the challenges, problems, and mistakes I’m unaware of. Duh! My bad. Why wouldn’t I ask Him. (You may get even better insights than when you ask your friends and family.)
Do you ask?
Thank you, God, for Grace, Truth, Love, and Laughter,
Darren
(Reminder, this is just a journal of my mistakes, experiences, and thoughts along my journey to having a closer relationship to God. I do not claim to be an authority on the subject. If you want to know The Way, read The Bible.)
What church does Darren go to? Verve Church in Las Vegas www.vivalaverve.org
P.S. Thank you, especially, for grace.

Excellent post as always. So glad you have a God Blog….. prayer and gratitude journals are wonderful.
You commented on asking God when you have an issue. Can I share an insight from my grandmother? (Skip this if you don’t want to read it!)
Grammie told us to pray without ceasing and that God would always answer our prayers. She said to remember that God answers in His Time, not ours and the answer may not be the one we are looking for. If we felt impatient or didn’t feel God was answering, Grammie had us open our Bible and start reading from whatever page it opened to. When you felt peace, you knew God’s answer. She was right – occasionally it wasn’t what I wanted to hear but there was peace in reading His answer. Many of my favorite verses come from those occasions when I randomly opened my Bible and began reading.
Hope this provides support to you and the many lives you touch.
