Has your own “Advice” ever come back to haunt you?

Ever have your own words haunt you? One huge negative to being a public speaker and having CDs, is that people have proof of what you tell them to do! Ouch!
I ended up sticking around Vegas this weekend (and not just because Craig Valentine and his wife are visiting!) I got asked if I wanted to do a “guest spot” at Planet Hollywood (The LA Comedy Club). Ouch! I haven’t been on the “stand-up” stage in over a year, and that was just once.
Stand-up comedy is a different “muscle” from presentations. The last time I did straight “stand-up” was when Vinnie put me on the spot while sitting in the audience a year ago. Quite frankly, I’m a little nervous. Who am I, however, to not take my own advice? So, I’m breaking out the old routine and the show must go on.
I’ll let you know how it comes out. And, yes, I’ll be recording myself. Do you?
